I cried through the whole podcast. I thought of my wonderful pastor and the one before him who are good and faithful servants and must be suffering. Thank you for such a thoughtful discourse.

Our Archbishop in San Antonio is a political activist who is more concerned for the children of those who have violated our borders, than our own children and young adults who are at risk or have been victims of predatory priests, bishops and cardinals. He has said nothing and neither has our pastor, but we are all talking about it. Waiting for them to say I AM SO SORRY!

Thank you also for the beautiful reflection and prayer at the end.

If McCarrick was one of the primary principals of the Dallas Charter, that did not include consequences for Bishops in such situations, why is it surprising? The omission avoided consequences for him.
