Joe and Father, thanks for this episode of the podcast. While I had limited issues a few years ago with continuous Facebook (FB) scrolling, I still decided to remove it off my phone as an app and only access through either a computer browser or through the iPhone browser. That has significantly limited how much I use FB, and it has been great. Another change was to remove all notifications from FB that are sent to my e-mail. The only downside is that if the rare person sends me a message in FB Messenger, I can be delayed in responding to it. I will say that the main reason for actually removing the FB app off my phone was because of the tracking that FB does, and that Apple is now highlighting. Even in the browser version of FB, I will occasionally log out so they stop tracking me. For those addicted to continuous scrolling in the FB app, I would encourage deleting the app and only using the browser.
Great comment, and merry Christmas! I know just what you mean with the pros and the cons of getting off of FB, and I'm happy to hear that you made the leap!
